How it works

A whip crack every time you shake the phone

The app does exactly one thing: it says CRACK. Shake the phone, or tap the whip master, and the sound arrives — the same sharp crack every time, with no delay.

The accelerometer listens for the jerk a whip makes, so the movement feels right: you swing your arm and the sound lands on the stroke. If you would rather use a finger, a tap on the figure works just as well.

The word CRACK flashes across the screen when the sound fires, so it can be seen as well as heard — useful when playing with it on mute in a room where noise is not welcome.

The volume is set inside the app rather than on the phone's buttons, so you can turn it down without leaving the screen.

Every crack counts up. The app keeps the running total and raises a level along the way — not because anything unlocks, but because a number that rises is more fun than no number.

There is nothing more to it. No account, no menu, no settings beyond the volume and a link to the privacy settings.
