SnapFrog

Catch flies with the frog's tongue in a fast pixel arcade game.

What it does

A frog sits on its lily pad. Tap the screen and the tongue shoots out after the flies. The pace rises, the flies get faster, and the wasps start sneaking in.

  • One tap controls everything
  • Handcrafted pixel art
  • Combo multiplier up to x5
  • Online high-score board
  • No ads between games
How it works

The frog, the flies and the three lives

You are a frog by a pond. Flies pass by, and you catch them with your tongue by tapping the screen. The wasps you must not hit — and you have to keep catching something, or the tempo bar runs out.

01

Six rules, and you are away

The help screen explains everything on one page: tap the screen and the frog shoots its tongue towards your tap. A fly is worth 10 points. The golden flies are rare and fast and worth 50.

Hit a wasp and you lose a life. You have three. And over all of it sits the tempo bar: if you do not catch something before it empties, that costs a life too. So you cannot simply wait for an easy fly.

The game ends when the three lives are gone — and then your score stands next to the record.

  • Fly = 10 points, golden fly = 50
  • A wasp costs a life
  • The tempo bar forces you to keep going
  • Three lives, and the round is over

A record to beat

The front page shows your highest score and a list of the best rounds with names, so the game can be handed to the next person in the family without resetting anything.

The graphics are deliberately pixelated and light — the game opens straight away and needs neither an account nor a connection.
